Instruction is provided in both Turkish and English. Students enrolling in the Turkish Foreign Trade Management Programme may, optionally, attend the English Preparatory Programme for one academic year to learn English as a foreign language for general and vocational use. Students enrolling in the English Foreign Trade Management Programme are required to attend the English Preparatory Programme for one academic year to learn general and vocational English. Exclusion from the English Preparatory Programme is possible in the case of a student possessing an international English proficiency document approved directly by the directorate of the English Preparatory Department. Today companies, in order to achieve success in the international arena, are more and more in need of qualified personnel who have both a profound knowledge of international trade and the relevant legislation. The Programme aims to fulfill these needs of the sector to train personnel who would possess the required theoretical and applied knowledge of the foreign trade and the international arena , this is of major importance to Turkey's economy. The Foreign Trade Management Programme will also provide students with business field knowledge as well as international trade, the financing of foreign trade, import-export legislation, customs legislation and international marketing.
