Health, Culture and Sports Directorship

It supervises the services for the basic needs of our students such as accommodation, nourishment and transportation in terms of their quality, hygiene, adequacy and price. It prepares projects in order to develop these services. Coordinating the activities of the students’ clubs which it supported in their creation and holding sports games, the directorship improves the opportunities for the students to produce social projects in the areas it supports and to carry out extra-curricular activities of their interests. Our institutition, which provides the students with an infirmary and personal accident insurance, enables our students to economically benefit from a wider spectrum of services thanks to health agreements with certain medical  agencies. Through school teams and sports tournaments and games, our students can join competitions and make friends with students from other universities

The Student Council

In accordance with 20.09.2005 and 25942 marked official gazette’s publication of “Higher Education Student Council and Higher Education National Student Council Regulations”, students are elected in every November. It consists of five students that are Executive Student Council, President, General Secretariat, Accountant, Responsible people for Education/Health/and Culture. The President of Student Council attends the election of Higher Education National Student Council in Ankara in December.

Student council tries to defend the students’ rights of services such as education, health, sport, and culture. They also try to make students be aware of their national rights. Moreover, this council combines the students with the administration and shares the needs and ideas of the students with the administration; therefore they represent the students in national and international areas.

 The Student Clubs

Student clubs are organized in technical, social, cultural, sports activity groups where our students spend time in their free hours, in accordance with their skills, motivations and interests. Through the student club activities, the student who finds an opportunity to display his/her skills by taking resposibilities and developing projects in school will develop a sense of belonging. He /she will be in touch with students who are from different  social environments and will have interaction with different activity groups.
